Strongarm Sponsors Django Boston Meetup

October 25, 2016 | By

This Thursday, Oct. 27, join the Strongarm team for the next Django Boston Meetup at Akamai in Cambridge, MA. The latest in the Lightning Talks series hosted by Django Boston, Strongarm will be sponsoring the event and covering drinks afterward.

Additionally, two of our team members will be giving talks:

  • Patrick Cloke, Lead Software Engineer at Strongarm, will speak on, “Adding Two-Factor Authentication to Django (with django-allauth)”. You can find the open source package on GitHub.
  • Ryan Scott, Software Engineer at Strongarm, will discuss, “Things I’ve Learned from Being Thrown Into Python and Django”

The entire Strongarm dashboard is powered by Django. Additionally, we use a variety of third-party packages and even maintain a few open source ones for others to use (such as the one linked above). We’ve also sponsored DjangoCon in the past. So you could say we’re big fans…

The Strongarm team will be on-hand to chat about everything from Django-heavy technical topics to hiring (which Strongarm is, hint-hint…)

The doors open at 6:45, and the event officially starts at 7:00 pm. Around 8:30, we will head to a local bar for drinks on us. We’d love to see you there!

Address: 150 Broadway (aka 8 Cambridge Center), Cambridge, MA (map).

Will we see you there? Tweet us @strongarmio to let us know!
