Whitelisting domains in Strongarm.io
As we continue to add new domain feeds to strongarm.io, we want to ensure each feed improves our ability to detect infections without increasing false positives.
Today, we have added two new features to strongarm.io to mitigate the risk of such false-positives and give our customers increased control over what domains are being blackholed.
Global strongarm.io whitelist
A global whitelist has been added to strongarm.io which prevents any of the Alexa Top 1000 domains from being automatically blackholed. Of course, your organization may still manually blackhole any of these domains if needed, easily overriding the global whitelist.
We have added the ability for each organization to manage their own domain whitelist. Domains on the list will never be blackholed for that organization, even if they appear in one of strongarm.io’s domain feeds.
With these new features, we continue to decrease false positives in strongarm.io while providing the ability for users to maintain control over exactly what domains are being blackholed.
